Granted, it’s not iPhone money, but the Motorola Moto G200 5G is far from being a budget mobile phone as you will be paying out the best part of £400 to own one. However, once you look under the cover, it soon becomes apparent, that the Moto G200 5G isn’t trying to be a budget phone, it’s trying to be more high-end, and it pretty much pulls it off.
First of all the Moto G200 5G utilises the power of one of the fastest processors available for mobile telephony, namely Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888+ which is coupled with 8Gb of internal RAM. The phone’s capabilities mean that it needs it though.
For example, the G200 5G sports a 6.8 inch full HD display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate that even supports HDR10. The camera technology built into this phone is equally impressive with a 108-megapixel main camera and separate 13 megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel depth sensors. You can even record through both the front and back cameras simultaneously – perfect for filming interviews without the need for more people and more cameras.
The G200 5G also supports Moto’s Ready For mode which enables you to connect the phone to a large screen which may come in handy for those of you working from home that have a need to conduct video calls.
To be honest, there’s not much to report on the downside apart from the price and the fact that there is only 128Gb of onboard storage and as it also does not have a card slot you are somewhat limited as to the amount of data/music etc can be stored at any one time.
|– Moto Ready For Mode||– No card slot|
|– Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ Processor||– It’s a bit plasticky|
|– Superb camera technology||– The price|
